3D Stuffed Turkey Thanksgiving Art Lesson
3D Stuffed Turkey Thanksgiving Art Lesson
Students create their turkey drawing, they copy it and make a mirror image of it.
(I let the students trace on top of the first one and reverse it)
Then we color them in, "stuff" them with newspapers and hang them up in the classroom.
The students love this lesson and you can do it with anything, I have a lesson with tropical fish and "stuffing" them.

Art and Science Interdisciplinary Lesson - Value Scale
Students used images of insect handouts and created a drawing. Then we used rulers to intersect the insects. Each sections had to have a different value. We went over what a value scale was. Students practiced creating a value scale from light to dark on a given handout with boxes labeled. This lesson was done with Special Ed High School students.
