Textured Portraits
Students used textured plates to create various papers
Later they cut out simple shapes to create a portrait
We spoke about simple shapes and how they can be used to create our facial features
Special Education - elementary and middle school students
Materials: broken crayons, paper, textures plates, construction paper, scissors, glue
